For the first time in 13 years Apple encountered their first ever decline in revenue. This is as per the quarterly financial results of the 2016 financial year. The revenue attained was $50.6 billion which reflects a 13% decline in revenue from the previous year.

  1. Well and Good Written. Apple does not need an introduction. We all are grateful to Steve Jobs for his wonderful creation which has added a lot of value to our life. His extraordinary vision about gadgets has taken shape in the form of Apple Digital products like iPhones and Mac Books. iPhone 6 is a wonderful gift to tech lovers. The features, speed, resolution and appeal of the highest version of Apple is simply unmatched. The pricing is too high! It does not fall within the bracket of affordability. Other smartphone manufacturers in the market are making a killing in the markets. They have launched a number of mobile phones with robust features like high-resolution cameras, optimal screen resolution and digital sound outputs. Post-2016, Apple sales would improve. This is the assumption of industry experts who are doing an in-depth analysis of the company data. We can only wait and watch the game unfold in front us.

  3. I phone’s declining revenue is due to its earlier years high revenue making as such this year its been unable to come up to that level. Then there is a slow growth in I phone consumers market due to its high price and then its OS is not being supportive to various apps thus making it less user friendly……it can change this decline by making cheaper phones and being in a position to tackle competition from china. Too informative and nice blog indeed.keep it up Mr Mahapatra.
